Borghese "Ipnotico Gold"

I got this pretty gold at the grocery store with the other Borghese holiday matte finish polishes. (I'm guess they're part of the holiday collection, not sure, lol. The same collection as "Nero Magico" and "Purple Confetti") "Ipnotico Gold" has silver glitter is in and dries matte, so all pics are with a top coat.

100th Post!!! Ruby Kisses "Pink Hot Pants"

Yay!!! It's my 100th blog post! I started this blog to mostly talk about my hair, but since my nails grow much faster than my hair (and i cant change my hair color every 3 days) I switched my focus to nail polish! Thanks to all the inspiration I saw on all the beautiful blogs out there, I have finally stopped biting my nails. I used to be a life long biter. Yuck.

This is Ruby Kisses neon "Pink Hot Pants" with a leopard stamp in konad white. I love the bottle design/label of the new Ruby Kisses nail colors. Fancy, haha!

China Glaze "Dreamsicle (Halloween #2)

This is gonna have to count as my "traditional Halloween color" mani (I have been slacking!) China Glaze "Dreamsicle is an orange jelly with lots of goldish glitter flakies. The picture is with 2 coats. I like it! Maybe I'll do a fall design with this one soon. I'm loving the cooler weather here in Austin :)

Halloween Design #1

I'm dressing up like a "She Devil" for "wear a costume to work day" lol. I'm not doing anything for Halloween (as usual) but I really needed an reason to use my spiderweb and bat design from Bundle Monster plate #13. I used Essie "Jag-u-Are" and sponged Orly "Matte Vinyl" (with top coat) diagonally on the tips.

With my pitchfork!

*ETA pics from my "outfit/costume" on Friday*

OPI "Here Today... Aragon Tomorrow" Suede

I got this green from my first haul from transdesign.com last month and am just now posting it. But I guess it works because October is "Depression Awareness Month" and the ribbon for it is green.

On my ring finger I used anothe untried of mine, SH "Jumpin' Jade." I though they would be dupes, but they're not even close!

This is "Here Today... Aragon Tomorrow" with a top coat...
... and here it is with a top coat and a flash. It looks like little green diamonds! After I took this pic, I kept this mani on for 3 more days cause I couldn't stop looking at it!

OPI "Rising Star"

This is my favorite gold right now! Ever since I saw Nubar "Caramello" online a while back, I've been looking for a color like this. Then the Burlesque collection by OPI rushed in and saved the day, lol! I added "Sparkleicious" to a few fingers.

Cosmetic Arts "Frenzy"

I found this nail polish brand a few weeks ago and picked up a few colors. This is "Frenzy" Pardon the horrible cell phone pics. I accidentally deleted my camera's memory card just as I was trying to update weeks of blogging!

Pan-African colors NOTD

This mani was inspired by the colors of the Ethiopian flag, I sponged on red, yellow, green and black on the ring finger and thumb and used “Orly “Iron Butterfly” (another matte that I like shiny) on the rest of the nails.

And, no, I'm not Ethiopian, I just love this color combo!

Revlon "Ruby Ribbon"

Another new Revlon matte that I picked up is “Ruby Ribbon.” Here it is with topcoat. The next day I added one of the Sally Hansen HD polishes. I forget the name, but it’s the pink one with purple and blue shimmer.

I'm not sure if I like this layering combo, but I left it on for a few days. I think I'm getting lazier with my nails!

A bonus pic of me (wearing ruby ribbon) holding my hubby's hand. I was feeling kinda artistic while we waited at the longest red light ever! (It looked better in my head... haha!)

Revlon "Fire Fox"

This is Revlon “Fire Fox.” It’s a bright sparkly red that dries matte. I put a topcoat on and stamped a swirly design in gold. I really like matte polishes, mostly because of the fast drying time. It seems I always add a topcoat though. Here it brings out the shimmer!

Loreal "Imperial Plum"

I've been away from the computer a lot this week, but I've still been painting my nails, and they've been growing!

This is Loreal “Imperial Plum” It looks like a more of a really dark brown, than a plum to me though. I stamped some roses with Orly “ Rage” and topped it all with Revlon Glimmer Gloss.
