Orly "Veridian Vinyl"

I feel like I've been away from blogging forever! My schedule has been off so I haven't done much to my nails the past few weeks. They've been either bare, or painted with obvious tip-wear or chips. Eww! Anyway, it's my goal to start swatching and posting more of the polishes I have. You should've seen my husband's face when I picked up OPI "Glitzerland" (and 4 other polishes on sale) at our grocery store tonight ;)

So here is Orly's "Veridian Vinyl" a teal "plastic" polish. It dries fast and I like the finish!

With cuticle oil applied, it looks more shiny; I bet it looks cool with a top coat too.

Rhinestone Week Nails

This is a no-name light purple, that I got in a box set from Ross for $4.99. Not a bad deal, because so far the application on them has been great. This was 2 coats. I added some rhinestone stickers also.

This is OPI DS “Reflection.” It’s my first designer series polish, and I love it because it’s a red holo! I added a rhinestone sticker to the ring finger.

LA Colors "Pink-a-Boo"

This is LA Colors “Pink-a-Boo.” It’s a light pink jelly I got from the Dollar Store. I topped it with NYC “Classic Coral Crème.” The name is really strange to me, because I think it's more of a pink shimmer, not “coral” or a “crème” at all!

"Wild Thing" and "Sweet P."

When the OPI Shrek collection came out, I couldn't make myself buy any of them. I secretly wanted "Who the Shrek are You," but I didn't think it would look good with my skin tone. So imagine my surprise when I picked Pure Ice "Wild Thing" a few weeks later at Wal Mart with the sole intention of it being a cheaper alternative. I actually like this color and could not wait to wear it! This is 2 coats, and it applied very well. Not bad for $2!

I even went back to Wally World and got Hard Candy "Sweet P." (a lime green glitter) because I thought they would look good together! This is 2 coats of "Sweet P."

"In a Tiff"

This is Nina Ultra Pro “In a Tiff.” It’s the same light blue that similar to Orly “Gumdrop” and China Glaze “For Audrey” I found it on sale at Sally’s for $1.99 and had to get it! The ring finger and thumb have white sponged on the tips and then polka dots stamped over in a slightly darker teal.

Co-worker's Choice!

This mani is for my friend at work! She asked me to do “something yellow with black stripes” and this is what I came up with.

This is Sally Hansen “Lightnening” with Orly “Luxe” on the tips of the nails with the zebra stamps. There’s glitter on the tips of the other nails.

Milani "Totally Cool"

This is Milani “Totally Cool” It’s a pretty purple jelly with pink or light purple glitter. I should have used 3 coats though. The pics are with 2 and you can see some bare spots. I added some stickers of “skull and crossbones/angel thing” cause I thought they were totally cool. Haha! Cheesy I know ;)

Hair Update

I'm going to keep wearing my extensions because I love the variety and switching it up is fun. Different colors, textures, and lengths make me happy!

"Mochachino" and "Best Dressed List" NOTD

This is Sally Hansen “Mochachino” and Color Club “Best Dressed List” from the Rebel Debutante collection

I used a swirly image BM plates and stamped over the light brown with “Mochachino” I used hole reinforcer stickers to make the half moon.

Red Glitter NOTD

This is Hard Candy “Lava” with Sally Hansen “Red Carpet” layered on the tips.

Really bad lighting, but it shows more of the gold shimmer in "Lava"
